WHO IS DT FILM SERVICES?

DT Film Services is a proudly owned family
business, operating for over 20 years. 
Andrew and Michelle Nivison founded DT Film Services in 1995 with its original name of "D.T. Video". They started with one camera and an edit suite which set the foundations for today. Later, one by one, the children of Andrew and Michelle joined the company and the name was changed to "DT Broadcast", and then now to "DT Film Services. 

DT Film Services is a hands-on Production Services company in Durban, South Africa offering extensive services from, Film, Broadcast, Photography and Lighting Rentals and Sales, as well as offering high end production services such as:

  • Live Events to Screen
  • Aerial Imaging 
  • And so much more
 

In 2016 the Company expanded and changed names from "DT Broadcast Hires" and morphed into DT Film Services as a greater segment of the local movie industry was gained.

OUR MISSION

Our motto, “For the love of the Industry”, lies behind the drive to build locally and raise the Durban profile within the greater Industry community. Our client base extends from the established photographers, freelance videographers to film makers and additionally provides active support to the local film schools such as AFDA and VEGA.
